Erin Hunter is four authors who write Warriors and Seekers. Victoria Holmes is the editor/moderator, while Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry, and Tui Sutherland do most of the writing.

However, a fifth "Erin" will be writing the new series, Survivors. The original four Erins will not be involved in this; Gillian Philip will be writing Survivors separately.

Vicky acts as the moderator and makes sure the books are consistent. Kate, Cherith, and Tui take turns writing the books. Gillian, the newest Erin, is writing the Survivors series independently of the other four (some fans complain that she doesn't count as an "Erin" because of this). Surprisingly, none of the Erins have ever been in the same room together! Vicky and Tui once met face-to-face, but other than that, they communicate almost exclusively through e-mail and similar methods.
