The thought of a unified Germany started spreading, following the Neopolic wars, Napleon spread the idea of Nationalism and Liberalism. Their were three main factors that contributed to unitey they were; economic, culltural and political nationalism.

Yes. They are unified today. But, as in the United States, the people in some regions of Germany complain about the people in other regions because they are too religious or secular, too urban or rural, too conservative or liberal, too wealthy or too poor, etc.
