Stonehenge is a circle of stones in Salsbury Plane in the Southern British Isles. It has been the centre of much speculation because nobody is quite sure how people in 3000BCE managed to move 50 ton stones more than 100 miles, and nobody knows for sure why they did so. It is true that it lines up with the sunrise on summer solstice and the sunset on winter solstice, but it was not likely to be used as a predictive tool. It is believed to be built by a socially advanced civilization known as the Beaker People.
