August Kholer in 1903 created the world's first dark field microscope
In 1936 Erwin Müller invented the field emission microscope, and in 1951 he invented the field ion microscope and was the first to see atom atoms . In 1967 he added time- ...
A Dark Field microscope is one that has a special condensor (light source) that illuminates the specimen in such a way as to enhance the contrast even if it is unstained. When you look at a specimen in a dark field scope, it looks bright, but it is visible against a black background -- the 'dark field.'
A bright field microscope is used for illuminating samples that are dark due to a bright environment. This microscope is used together with a compound microscope at times.
Phase Contrast Microscope- uses UV light Dark Field Microscope-
Makes a dark background. Used for most pictures
microscope is used to see small objects

There are seven type of microscopes. They are: (1) The Electron microscope, (2) the compound microscope, (3) the light microscope, (4) the scanning electron microscope, (5) the transmission electron microscope, (6) the dark field microscope, and (7) the light field microscope.
