When you are born is your death already calculated?

An interesting question, perhaps instead of calculated we can use the word established or even known? God allows all mankind a certain amount of time to accomplish those things which he has been commanded to do.

The one main purpose is to gain a mortal body, so that when we eventually die that body will become immortal when the spirit reenters it. But I suppose the big questions are why do children die during child birth or are still born, why do people die in war or accidents, are these deaths predestined or foreordained?

Death must come to all of us, unless one is translated to be later changed in the twinkling of an eye from mortality to immortality. This still does not answer the question does it.

In giving this some thought it would seem that we are the masters of our own fate, though it is my firm belief that a child will be called back so that they will not have to endure the pains of this wicked world, their purpose of having gained a body being fulfilled.

Wars and accidents take our lives before it is time for us to go, while others are permitted to live well past the expected life span of three score years and ten, I am now living on borrowed time at the age of 77.

One does not know the mind of the Lord or how long He will permit us to live. I suppose the imortant thing is what we do with the time we are alive.

I do not think that He gives us so many years to the second, but as death has to come to us all, for that is part of life, for to die is really to live, the old saying that "It Was Their Time" might be in order and leave it at that.
