When you get a new Ipod can you keep all your old songs?
If you have a new ipod can you sync all your songs from your exsisting itunes library to your new ipod?
Yes. All the songs form your library will be transferred to the iPod, and the library will not be harmed.
If you have saved your songs to itunes then you can download them onto your new ipod
its basically when you lets say updated your music from iTunes with new songs........... but the new songs don't show up in your iPod so you press auto-fill it will delete all your songs from your iPod and re-download all your songs again to have all your songs that you wanted on your ipod
No, you don't. If you purchase another iPod, just extract the songs from the old iPod and put it on the new one. If all the songs are in your library, just drag all the songs onto the iPod from your Music library.
I just got a new ipod and i dont have all of my songs on my computer from my old ipod and not all of my songs are from itunes how can i put every song i have on my old ipod to my new one?
That is illegal because if u stole an iPod u could copy music and such.
You are buying new ipod will you still be able to plug it into your iTunes that Ive already got and put everthing in there back on to the new one?
Yes, if you buy a new iPod, you can still keep all of the music that you have saved on your iTunes, and then transfer it to your new iPod. The old iPod is simply a device to store the songs, and does not remove them from the computer.
all you have to do is plug the ipod in to itunes on your computer and you can get all your music/ pictures on the other ipod to your new one
Your sister lost your ipod and bought you a new one and you made a copy of hers and got all your songs back but now it will only let her get new songs even if you buy them how do you get new songs on?
There is a bit of information missing here. If your problem is that your new iPod will not accept songs, but only when your sister is able to drag the songs on there, then it is that you are not importing the songs onto your iPod right.
iTunes will let you transfer your purchases. For the rest of your iPod music, you will need to use a program that will copy all songs from your iPod to your new iTunes .
Why when I try to sync music from itunes to my iPod from a new computer does it tell me all my music on my iPod will be erased?
because your ipod isn't authorized to the new computer. what i recommend doing is move all music to one computer with a flash drive and then when you delete the songs off of your ipod on the new computer, you will sink the same songs onto it. if that doesn't work, just move your songs onto the old computer. derpinfloogle
If you already have an ipod and you get a new one and try to put that on the computer how do you put your songs on your new ipod?
It all depends on where you get your songs. If you have Itunes then if you dont have a plug in so u can plug in the ipod to the computer, get one. Then it should come up.... New Device, just name it, then it should start loading all your songs. Let me know if this helps or u need more instructions.
Yes you can go on your itunes on your computer afterwards plug your new ipod in and sync the songs on and your all set

Can you connect your ipod with music on it onto a new computer without losing the music already on your ipod?
No i have tried it and it deletes all your songs
First, extract all of the songs from your CD through your computer and put all of the songs on the CD into iTunes (only mp3 and mp4 files are accepted to play a song on the iPod Touch). After making sure the songs are the correct format, plug in your iPod, then iTunes should recognize it, and then just drag the songs to your iPod symbol in iTunes.
Yes you have to sync all the songs at the same time or you will lose them all. When it does this it only syncs the new songs and the old songs won't be lost
If you have music backups of the old iPod in iTunes, you can easily sync the songs with the new iPod. If you don't have backups, you are also able to transfer purchased songs from the old iPod to iTunes using the "Transfer Purchases" function of iTunes. You won't be allowed to transfer the songs from the old iPod to computer or new iPod if the songs are not from iTunes. This is how to… Read More
If all of your songs are still on itunes then yes.
They have new songs come out all the time if i where you i'd keep my eyes on youtube keep searching new Jonas brothers songs
It depends on how many songs, videos, and pictures you have or intend to have on the iPod Touch. Keep in mind the 8gb only holds about 1,700 songs, and the 16gb holds twice as much. Sometimes new is better. In my opinion, you should go for the refurbished 16gb.

You can use iPod-to-iPod transfer program. iPod 2 iPod is what I use to transfer music and videos from my iPod to my sister's. It can help transfer music/videos between iPods easily. When you connect both iPods to your computer, it will automatically scan and display all files on both iPods on two columns. iPod2iPod will compare songs against two iPods at once, remove hundreds of duplicates in seconds, sort by Artist, Genre, Album, or… Read More

This is with windows xp but will probably work on windows 7 and mac. First click on your ipod icon and and the bottom of the screen, check manually manage music and videos. Then create a new playlist under your ipod icon and drag songs into it. With manual mode you will not need to sync it so just take it out and all the songs you wanted on it should be there!
It depends on your style. If you are not big on games, and like to listen to around 500 songs or less, have very few videos, and do not really like to keep photos on your iPod Touch, then get the 8 gigabyte iPod Touch. If you are big on apps, games, etc., and have well over 1000 songs in your current music player (or computer), love listening to music all of the time, like… Read More
There is a way of adding a folder to your ipod and then compressing all your songs and putting them into this folder. The folder should be put on to the ipod in the ipod settings with the other folders like music and photos and such. If you look on the mac website someone will have probably gone into more detail.
I just bought a new car that has an mp3 player and an ipod port the radio doesn't play any songs from the ipod but it does play some mp3 songs my son had on his any idea why?
Make sure that the songs that were downloaded onto your iPod are in MP3 format. Songs downloaded from iTunes are not in MP3 format. Even though you can hear the songs on your iPod when you connect headphones to it, the iPod port in your car might not recogonize the songs. The songs on your son's iPod might be in MP3 and that is why you could hear it.
Connecting your iPod to a new computer and connecting to iTunes should not erase the songs.
If you make an account on your ipod touch on one computer can you download music from another computer without having to only get music from the computer you made an account with?
If you have iTunes on 1 computer and want to get songs from another iTune on a new computer onto your iPod, you can't. You can delete all the songs on your iPod and start again on the new iTunes, but you cant combine 2 iTune libraries. This is for all iPods, not just the iPod touch. You have to download it all again. Hope this was what you meant.
You first dissconect your Ipod from the computer, buy the songs you want, when the spinning arrow in the left with the options is done you hook your ipod back up and you have _ new songs!
-I am not sure about one gig, but my iPod has 60 and it hold around 14000 songs.. hope that helps. -It can hold up to 240 songs, but the new ipod shuffle can hold up to 1,000 songs.
you hook up your iPod to your computer, then it will make you set up an account for your iPod. once you are done, you can start snycing songs to your iPod just like your old one.
I have a new ipod but i dont want to lose the library from my old one how can i transfer the old library onto my new ipod?
Sync it with your iTunes library and transfer the songs from the library onto the new iPod or plug them both in at a time and transfer it from iPod to iPod by dragging the songs in one into the other. or also with limewire helps to!! answered by nicky bear
u need to delete the old stuff u got and add the new ones.
Just sync your new iPod to you iTunes library. You can only sync your iPod to one library, but you can sync multiple iPods to that library.
If you still have iTunes you should still have your music in it. So you can just put all the music on. OR if you made a playlist you should still have it in iTunes unless you deleted it. Just do what you did with the old one.
You have purchased songs on your itunes account from 3 different computers and you want them to play on all the computers you have allowed access to the new computer but you still cant play old purcha?
Well you should try to put all of the songs on a back up file (flashdrive.) If that does not work you can getthoes disks that you can copy things on them. (You might need more than one CD, it all depends on how many songs you have on your iPod.) once you have that all copyed on the CD you can easly put them on you new computer all you have to do is… Read More
