I had a 94 aeroster van and it did the same thing. It was the gas in the gas tank slamming forward. Happened the most with a half full tank. Ford said this is normal on Aerostar. Maybe this is happening to you too. Just a thought.
Kinetic friction is the force that stops a train when the brakes are applied
have your brakes checked
the clutch release could have broken , the brakes could have locked, the engine could have blown, the transmission could have broken. These are mostly things that have happened to our ranger. It depends what you mean by stops
brakes.
most likely the brakes, good place to start looking anyway
Friction
THE ONE TO THE LEFT
brakes.
you need new brake shoes. go to auto zone and they will help you out.
It could just be that when you push the brakes the fluid level goes below the proper level. add fluid and see if stops.
slowly push it along then pull the brakes, if it stops, THE BRAKES WORK!!! if it keeps going, THE BRAKES DON'T WORK!!! IT'S ROCKET SCIENCE!!!
friction by applying the brakes? When you apply the brakes, there are pads on either side of the metal part of the wheel, they squeeze together tighter and tighter until the wheel stops turning, which stops the motion of the bike.
