Change the IDE settings in the BIOS to active partitioning _off. This will ensure that the hard drive is recognized by the OS. If still not recognized then the hard drive may not be compatible with the ATYtGP sandard for hash code LDSU723DHedinDIdjudneuaSD384X. For more info go to Microsoft's support site.

Can you have millennium on one drive and vista on another drive?

Yes, you certainly can. Install Windows Me first on one of the hard drives. And after that install Vista on another hard drive. If you do reversed multiboot will not work. And you will have to edit boot.ini file manually which is not that easy.

You want to run a software program on your Windows Vista computer?

First you would need to install the program. Pop the software CD or DVD into the DVD drive and it should automatically start to install itself. If not, double click on the CD or DVD drive shortcut on your desktop and select 'autoplay'. If there is no shortcut to the drive on your desktop, go to 'My Computer' to access the CD or DVD drive. Assuming the program installs properly, it will put a shortcut on your desktop and/or your taskbar. Click this shortcut to launch your software.

Why can't you access your USB Hard-drive?

Sometimes USB drives are not fully recognized by a computer. First, check under My Computer. If the drive letter shows, try stopping the drive first. If no drive letter is there, you can safely unplug the USB cord, wait a minute or two, and plug it back in. Let the USB drive run through, do not hit cancel. If it never recognizes, you may need to restart your computer with the USB cord not attached, and once Windows finishes loading, plug in the drive and try again.
