i had the same problem with mine after hundreds of pounds turned out to be the optical sensor in the distributer
The coil probably needs to be replaced. This can be a symptom of a coil on its way out.
Even though you replaced the coil, it may be bad. You should test that first. If the coil is okay, it could be that the ignition wires need to be replaced.
Replace the ECU.
Coil pack needs to be replaced
check for clogged fuel filter,or bad fuel pump
make sure your coil wire is pluged in

I have a 1995 also I had the same trouble so I replaced the coil and it stoped for a week then started doing it again so (it might sound crazy) but Itook a hiar dryer and pointing it down towards the coil and on high for about ten minutes it kicks right over. I dont know but it works on mine.
it could be the control module
if there is power, change coil. if there isn't power, change battery
try to get a new ignition rotor
