Kangaroos occur naturally in only two places - Australia and the island of New Guinea. Even then, only tree kangaroos are found in New Guinea.
It is unknown how many countries that smaller kangaroo varieties, such as wallabies, have been introduced to, but they have certainly been introduced to New Zealand and Scotland.
