Natural rubies are a gem stone and not man made. These can be found in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Yet, there are lab created rubies that are seen in a great deal of today's modern jewelry. To find a natural ruby is rare and they cost a great deal. The lab ruby is made by many companies all over the world.
