The ecotech engines spark plugs are located under the cylinder head cover on the engine. There are four bolts that you have to remove first and possibly depending on the model you may have to loosen a clip that holds another wire in place. Once the cover is off you will be able to locate the plugs easily. I finally found the info on the net because we were having the same problem. Hope that helps.
4 quarts. 5 if you have the ecotec engine.
does anyone know where the sparkplugs are located on the engine on a 2003 Chevy trailblazer
on the engine. Your best bet is to take it to the shop if you cannot locate them. Sorry
5 quartz or 4.8 liters.
if you have the 2.2 liter ecotec engine, they are located right on top of the engine, they are located under the top black piece that says ecotec on it.
If it is the 2.2 ecotec engine, it is located on the spark plug cover withe ecotec logo on it. It is a little square with wires and heat fins on it.
Pop off the blackcover over the engine and the spark plugs are located under it.
A complete GM Ecotec engine will weigh about 300 pounds. This of course is the complete engine, down to the bolts and all.
Saturn ION 2.2 L ecotec engine has a top speed of 78.6 mph which is fairly fast.
There is no distributor cap on a Pontiac sunfire, only a coil pack. coil pack is located on the back of the engine.
They are located below the black plastic where you see the "ECOtec" logo on the engine top. You have to remove screws and pull out the ignition coils to see the spark plugs. By the way GM's 2.2 Ecotec use direct ignition, so there's no spark plugs wires.
where is the ground wire on a 2006 chevy cobalt 2.2 ecotec motor
Your Sunfire has two coil packs, located on the back side of the engine as viewed from the front of the car. Find a spark plug wire and follow it back.
The clutch bleed valve on a 2.2 liter Chevy Ecotec engine is located on the slave cylinder. To find the slave cylinder remove the battery, as it is mounted underneath the battery tray.
it is located near the front of the engine .or it is located at the side of the block.. WRONG! On the 2.3L/2.4L it is located on the front of the engine next to the oil filter. On the 2.2L engine it is located at the back of the engine next to the coil packs.
back side by coil pack
Yes, it does.
you will more than likely need a new engine controller if you do that, but yeah if everything matches you could probably pull it off.
They are on the engine.
Under the car about dead center between the Front wheels. Should be a 15mm Bolt head. If it is an 2.2 Ecotec motor the Oil Filter Access is on the top front of the engine on the Drivers Side. it is located in the same place every car's drain plug is located, in the bottom most part of the oil pan. only makes sense.
...really? Without sparkplugs the engine will not be able to start up and run...so to answer your question yes the 2005 Dodge Dakota has sparkplugs.
yes it is a interference motor .
In/out hose located on valve cover (fresh air) Dirty air sucked in through breather hole on manifold
If memory serves, it's on the front, straight down from the radiator. I think you can see it from the engine bay.
