The axial skeleton is made up of five mainparts. This is the skull, the ossicles of the inner ear, the hyoied bone (I don't know the accurate spelling) of the throat, the rib cage and the vertebral column.

If we put the axial skeleton and the appendicular skeleton together, it would form the full human skeleton.

the axial skeleton is bones that arent appendages or are joints near appendages (ex. not shoulders, hips, arms, legs) it would be things in your head and torsolike skull, ribs, pelvis, spine etc
