when laying on you back looking at the regular fuse panel, on the other side of the steering column there is a box about 3"x3". unplug that box and the fuses are vertical above where that box was plugged in
Go to Autozone, tell them the car year, make, model etc. They will give you the right number for the headlight; even if you don't buy them there.
It is next to the headlight there are three bolts that hold it on.The knob that you can turn to adjust your headlights it is rigth there.
Not certain about the 91, but in the 89 they're in the fusebox. Open the glove compartment and look on the right hand side. The fusebox cover labels the location of the fuses. There are separate fuses for the left and right headlights.
replace the switch that tells it what temperature to kick on.
Any size SBC engine will fit and is compatible with a 91 Firebird. A 350 engine is the most common that is used for installing in a 91 Firebird.

A firebird can't "have" third gen. It either is or is not a third generation firebird, and Yes, a 1991 is a third generation.
