Yes, you do have 6 spark plugs! There should be 3 orange wire ends, that are probably the ones that you pulled off to remove the 3 spark plugs. Well the other 3 are undernieth of the coil packs. Which are the black packs right besides the other wires. Should be 3 of them. Sometimes they might be screwed down, or sometimes they can just be pulled straight up to remove. Just mark them all so you remember which hole they went in, otherwise you can end up with a misfire. Good luck. The coil packs arent screwed down althought it appears a small screw is installed. Just pull up on each side and wiggle it......just a little bit. Some of you might get that.
The 2000 Toyota Avalon spark plugs can be located on each side of the engine. The spark plugs will be near the bottom of the engine. There are three spark plugs on each side.
The rear spark plugs are covered by the intake manifold plenum which must be removed to access the plugs.
three are on the front valve cover the other three are under the intake manifold
You can find the spark plugs for your 2002 Nissan Pathfinder on each side of the engine. The spark plugs will be near the top of the engine. A six-cylinder engine will have three spark plugs on each side.
The spark plugs are located on the side of the engine, near the bottom. A four-cylinder engine will have two spark plugs on each side. A six-cylinder engine will have three spark plugs on each side.
There are three engines available. If it's a 6 cylinder engine, 6 spark plugs. If it's the 4 cylinder engine, 8 spark plugs.
The spark plugs are located on your head for the first three, when you open your hood and you find the metaling (head) that says 24 valve V6, there are 3 plug type things on there, those are the spark plugs, the last three, are under the plenum.
ummm follow the spark plug wires from the three little black boxes on the back/top of the intake to the block u will find three plugs in the front and three in the back
You can count the number of spark plugs. A four-cylinder engine will have two spark plugs on each side of the engine. A six-cylinder engine will have three spark plugs on each side of the engine.
YOU CAN REMOVE THE SPARK PLUGS WITHOUT REMOVING ANYTHING EXCEPT THE SPARK PLUG WIRES IN THE REAR USE A SWIVAL AND EXTENSION AND WORK ON BOTH SIDE AND THE MIDDLE OF THE PLETNIUM THE FRONT SPARK PLUGS NEED JUST TO REMOVE THE THREE COILS
Three on the front of the engine and three at the rear.
You will three plugs different from the forth plug
you have to take the intake manifold off and the other three are under it
Three on each side of the motor. Follow the spark wires.
Then you'll have three good spark plugs and three bad spark plugs. Not a good combination. I suppose you want to know if it will hurt anything though. The answer is no but if the three old plugs are shot it won't run very good.
You rock the engine forward to gain access to the rear plugs.
on a 95 maxima the spark plugs are under the manifold where you put your oil in you have to use a Allen key to unscrew then take off three are under there
six spark plugs three coil packs with rubber boots on the end of them.make sure u install correctly
the three are in the front and the other three are under neath the silver thing and u have to take it out its a hard job worth $200.00
First of all you can get to the first 3 plugs very easily. The other three you have to take off the plenum (be sure to replace the old plenum gasket)
There are 3 in the front, but the other three, you have to take the intake manifold OFF the car,,, big job. Bob in AZ
I suspect you have V6. If it is the case, you will have to remove intake manifold. There is no other way to replace it.
Take off the plastic engine cover with the three or four bolts pending on which model, then remove the ignition coils and ignition coil plugs, and presto! you have access to all your spark plugs.
well the dealer wants 350 dollars. i just had my replace for 150dollars. don't buy their(dealer) spark plugs because they want 15.00 each. go to auto zone and you can get the spark plugs there for about 4.00-6.00dollars. spark plug wires are 33.00 each and there are three, but you can get them at auto zone for 34.00 dollars for all three. i hope this helps you.
Why Spark Plugs are ChangedSpark plugs are changed because they wear out. There are three factors affecting the wear of a spark plug:The very high voltage electrical spark actually "wears off" the electrode metal, albeit only a very little each time it fires. The burning fuel, and combustion by products can erode/wear the electrodes. The combustion by products AND lubricating oil residue can build up on the electrodes causing the plugs to misfireThere may be some other reasons which don't come to my mind at the moment.
