You need to bo to Browning.com since you didn't provide the model and use the sn function.

FN made hundreds of different caliber rifles, pistols & shotguns both military & civilian. Need more info. Be specific.

Value is too difficult to be accurate without seeing the gun. Condition which includes the amount of original finish and original configuration will determine value. Recommend taking it to a gun shop for appraisal.

Depending on condtion 200-400 USD how can a browning in almost perfect condition ,1925 model with only a 4 diget ser.no only be worth 400.00.

Serial number 67296 was made in 1924. Sounds like you have an FN (Fabrique Nationale) gun versus a Browning Arms Co gun. If your gun says "acier special" on the barrel you have an FN gun. If it says Ogden Utah, its a Browning gun. Both were made by FN. Pre-War Browning guns in original condition (no chokes or pads) are valued more than the FN guns. It's rare to find a 20's gun in better than 90-95% condition. Generally they sell from $350-$500 due to most having less than 85% finish. (FN guns were sold in markets outside the US and did not compete with Browning inside the US)

If it is really in NRA Fair condition, it's worth the value of any useable parts. If the gun is complete and functional, it will grade something better than fair. Since you do not indicate what model it is and FN (Fabrique Nationale) made several guns on Browning patents, about all I can say is that your gun was apparently intended for sale in continental Europe since it is marked only in French.

These guns are very collectable and prices vary. As with any firearm, it is not possible to accurately appraise a gun without seeing it. Recommend that you see a local gun dealer for an appraisal. You can also do your own investigation by looking at other models being sold that are in the same condition as yours. Try the gunbroker.com or a periodical called "The Gun List" You can also reference the Blue Book of Gun Values which can be purchased on line at various retailers.

This gun was made in 1946-47. records are not available to determine exactly. This is a gun that FN made at the end of the war for sales outside the US, and not to Browning. FN was in the process of converting all 16 ga guns to 2.75", but yours is the receiver and barrel that was left over from prewar mfg which is for the 2 9/16" shells. Value is too difficult to be accurate without seeing the gun. Condition which includes the amount of original finish and original configuration will determine value. Auto 5's with poly-chokes, compensators and recoil pads (other than Mag 12's) will reduce value. Recommend taking it to a gun shop for appraisal.

Internet, gun shop, gun show, want ads, library, book store

100-10000 USD depending on EXACTLY what you have, its condition and history.
