staph exists on the skin or inside the nostrils of 20-30% of healthy people. It is sometimes found in breast tissue, the mouth, and the genital, urinary, and upper respiratory tracts. staph bacteria are usually harmless.

Some species can be found on your skin and many species can be found in your nose associated with your nasal mucosa (eg: Staphylococcus epidermidis; Staphylococcus hominis). The examples given are just two of about 20-30 species of staphylococcus that are found as part of the normal human microflora. Some staphylococcus species can also be found in soil. Most species of staphylococcus are not harmful to humans unless the immune system is weak (immunocompromised).

You can not, it will not be sold to you even if it were available. Your best bet would be to grow some bacteria colonies from your own skin on plates that favour straphs. But if you need to ask here, you probably lack the skills to do the research how you should select for straphs.

The bacterium you are looking for is called Staphylococcus epidermidis and you can find it at Carolina Biological. You may not find if you are looking under epidermis.
