first of all if you have and internet connection try chiltons.com or haynes.com, maybe try a direct Mitsubishi website. googling it always provides real good sites :) Try looking on the underside of the hood. You can find the timing info and spark plug gap there too!
there should be a sticker under the hood. Or you can buy a repair manual from autozone or something, however it's still hard to understand since there are a ton of vacuum lines. I'm an ASE tech struggling with a car in my shop right now...good luck

You use the S in the serial number to find out when your Fender Mustang Bass Guitar was made. If the serial number starts with S05 it means that is made in the late 70s or early 80s.

I do not know about a 1988 Isuzu PU, but I have a 1992 and the vacuum diagram is on the underside of the hood. You may need to clean it up a bit to see it. I did. Hope this helps. morempg2u

buy a Haynes or Chiltin Repair manual
Your best bet is to buy a Chilton's Repair Manual. It has lots of pictures and diagrams.
You can find a detailed vacuum hose schematic for a 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme in the car's owner's manual. You can also check with local auto stores.
Can be find in any Haynes manual specific to your car. Good luck.
