Where can you find illustrations and instructions to change a serpentine belt on a 1997 Buick Lesabre?
Hey Anthony==There should be a schematic on the fan shroud. If there isn't, draw a picture before you remove it. Put a wrench on the bolt in the center of the idler pulley bolt and pull it up and it will let you take the tension off of the belt. GoodlluckJoe Chiltons or other svc manual add** on most models the drivebelt diagram is on the radiator panel cover. if you can not locate the diagram try this site ALLDATADIY.COM (Do It Yourself Automotive Diagnostic & Repair Information)
Subaru 4 cylinder does not use a serpentine belt. The 6 cylinder instructions are rather simple, same as my '88 Cavalier and I presume any car that uses a serpentine belt. This comes from the factory service manual: remove collector cover install tool to tensioner pulley installation bolt rotate tool clockwise to loosen the belt and remove install in reverse order
