Five Stages was located in an old Masonic temple at 2451 N. Kedzie. Searching the Chicago Tribune using ProQuest will produce a number of concert listings, and a good general article about the venue appeared on page A12 of the Chicago Tribune, 8 March 1970. In April 1970 the venue was renamed "The Stages" by a new owner.
