You may want to go to a car parts store, and get a repair manual for your car. They cost about $16.00 Or, go to a Public Library. First you can not fix a fule filter you replace it. It should be located under neeth the car on the drivers side in front of the rear axle. It is as simple as unscrewing two hose clamps, twist the filter to break it loose and pull the hoses off. when putting in the new fule filter make sure the arrow on the fule filter points to the engine.
