If you've ID'd it as an Iver Johnson product, I'd guess it is a Champion model which was made from 1909 to 1956. I think Sears may have dropped the Eastern Arms name sometime earlier than that, probably in the 1930's.

I have a Eastern Arms (sold by Sears and hardware stores) Manufactured by Iver Johnson as well as others. It is a 16 gauge single barrel shotgun model 1929. The firing pin is removed by cocking the hammer back, there is a set screw at the top of the receiver , when removed the firing pin can be removed from the hammer side;watch for the spring. Installation is the reverse.
