A 2002 Honda CR-V has a dipstick that can be pulled out to check the transmission levels. Find the dipstick under the hood and pull it out and then wipe off any liquid. Put the dipstick back in and pull it out slowly to read the levels on the dipstick.

Can't find it ? It does not have one ! Only has a fill cap. Fluid is checked by removing a plug on transmissin. This is great job for GM dealer.

Manuals don't have dipsticks. There is a bolt on the side of manual transmissions that you fill it or on the bottom you drain it.
