This question is a bit confusing. If they are registered in YOUR name, YOU must have registered them, you should know what agency you registered them with, and they should be in YOUR gun safe.
The serial number should be engraved on the weapon, usually on the barrel.

Depends on the laws in your state or country. In the US, firearms registration is virtually nonexistent, save for NFA regulated firearms, and in the state of California (which, even then, is very limited in the scope of what gets registered).

You can't- unless you are a law enforcement officer. However, if you are concerned that a gun you are considering buying may be stolen, see if your local law enforcement will run the serial number for you.
Provide me with the serial numbers and I can tell you when they were made. Or, if the serial numbers are <354,000, you can also contact the Cody Firearms Musuem and purchase a factory letter which will give you the exact date it was received in the warehouse from the assembly room. Bert H.

In MOST states, there is no central registry of firearms. The few that do treat this as private information, and the database is not open to the public. Potentially, it could be used as a shopping list by criminals.
By downloading serial numbers I assume you mean a list of years and serial numbers? And for the record, only John Deere dealers have this capability to ensure that serial numbers are not forged or altered.
