What are places to sell baby chicks?

You can sell chicken eggs just about anywere. The most reasonable place to sell them is from your home. Advertise in the local news paper, or put a sign at the end of your road/driveway/ect. You could also advertise over the internet. You could also sell eggs at things like Agricultural / rural events/sales/auctions around your county/state.

Fertilized eggs are available from most local hatcheries all year. Spring time is the usual big selling time. Check with your area feed outlet for local farmers who will sell eggs from a flock with a rooster. 4H clubs can be of help also, as they know area farms that always have fertilized eggs on hand and can collect and store a few days worth for you to put into an incubator. Eggs can also be ordered on-line and sent via post office. You can also go to Theisens and Tractor Farm Supply and places like that. I have gotten many chicks and fertilized eggs from there. If you know any farmers ask them. My family also used to get some from a family friend who had a chicken farm.

I'm not sure about a commercial buyer, but you can go to sale barns to sell. I'm sure you can find one in a near by town. Regardless, you won't get top dollar, as these are auctions, but if you breed good chicks, you can get a pretty penny for some. You may also consider selling Guineas (Small, goose like bird).

you can sell chickens privatley by making a web page or even advertise but most commonly way to sell chickens is a farmers market. it is best to sell hens now than winter because buyers rather well producing hen than hens that dont lay. just type into Google maps Your City Mart such as Carlise farmers mart but you have to make your submison in advance

Unless you have a large spent flock, most meat processors will not buy the stock. Most small farms will use the hens for meat in their own kitchens or contact a local butcher who will know who might be interested in a few birds. Check with your local feed and grain outlet, the staff there will often have contact with those who might be interested.
