Yes, Pokémon does have banned episodes.
Episode 18: Holiday at Acopaulo, the U.S. title is "Beauty and the Beach."
The reason it had been banned is because they gave James cleavage so he could win a beauty contest. Kids' WB and 4Kids Entertainment both felt James' disguise was inappropriate so they decided to edit it and then later present it as a "Lost Episode" during the airing of the Orange Islands series.
Episode 35: The Legend of Dratini
This episode was banned because of the result of characters firing Guns in the episode at other characters.

Episode 38: Electric Soldier Porygon
This is the most famous of the banned episodes. It is banned everywhere in the world including Japan due to the result of its original airing in Japan causing a lot of kids being hospitalized due to the result of experiencing seizures from watching the intense special effect graphics from this episode.
Episode 252: The Ice Cave
This episode was banned because of Jynx being the featured Pokémon in it.
Episode 377: Shaking Island Battle! Barboach VS Whiscash!!
This episode was banned as a result of earthquakes that were happening around the time of its scheduled original air date in Japan so Japan had pulled it and it was never aired anywhere in the world, not even in other countries such as the U.S.

∙ 12y agoThe Pokémon episodes that were banned were "The Legend of Dratini," "Electric Soldier Porygon" and "The Ice Cave." "Legend of Dratini" was banned because in the episode the Safari Zone Warden kept on aiming and even in some instances shooting a Gun at the characters. "Electric Soldier Porygon" was banned because it gave seizures to a bunch of people in Japan when it first aired. "The Ice Cave" was banned because of Jynx being in the entire episode. Jynx was seen as an controversial Pokémon due to its coloring scheme. "Shaking Island Battle! Barboach vs Whiscash!" was banned throughout the world due to Japan banning it because around the time it was scheduled to air they had devastating earthquakes.

∙ 10y agoYes there are a couple banned episodes of pokemon all of which where aired during the first season of the show. A very good example is the Porygon episode during the show Porygon attempts to time travel during this time many lights and patterns flash on the screen which caused a widespread seizure epidemic causing the show to be banned.
