The Four Seasons would rate as the 'Crème de la Crème' of Seattle's hotels. However, there are numerous other excellent hotels catering to different tastes.
The famous Fairmont Olympic is a long-standing traditional hotel located in a magnificent location in Seattle. Fairmont lists itself as a luxury chain, but there's a great deal of anecdotal commentary that the hotels under the Fairmont management banner can sometimes be constrained by drastically limited budgets, which affects every department within the hotel. This is not limited to just Seattle, but most (but not all) of the US properties.
The Alexis is billed as among the top 500 hotels in the world. I've stayed in all of the hotels I'm sharing and each has its own qualities. The Alexis advertises as a luxury boutique hotel.
The Pan Pacific, a Canadian chain, is also a top quality hotel, slightly modern, but excellent service.
The Sorrento, which is slightly out of the centre, but still close to all activities is an older hotel that has gone through many refurbishments. It provides a worldy charm, still resting with rather luxurious settings.

∙ 11y agoInn At The Market was ranked number 1 of 121 hotels in seattle and was awarded Travelers Choice 2012 winner, though rooms go around $205 and up. Another somewhat cheaper and good choice is Cedarbrook Lodge which was ranked number 2 of 121 hotels in seattle, a room goes for about $173 and up.
