Barack Obama graduated from both Columbia University and Harvard Law School. He began his undergraduate degree at Occidental College in 1979 in LA but transferred to Columbia in 1981. He majored in political science with an emphasis in international relations, and graduated in 1983. After working for a while, in 1988 he entered Harvard Law School where he got his JD in 1991, with academic honors.
