Connie Talbot loves to sing. Her father has said that "I know people won't believe it but she started singing bits of songs at seven months." Singing has always been her idea, not something she had to be guided or pushed to do. Auditioning for Britains Got Talent was her idea.

∙ 13y agoShe sang for the first time at three years old in a local Pop Idol night contest. She had to be eleven to be able to sing but she cried so they gave her the mic to make her happy. She did well and remembered all the words to "Over The Rainbow" at three.

∙ 12y agoThe managers at Rainbow Recordings her label, said that she didn't need singing lessons so they were not going to give her lessons. After Britains Got Talent in interviews Connie has said that she had never had singing lessons. All singing performers on Britain's Got Talent have available a professional voice coach, so Connie may possibly have had a pointer or two.
