The historical Jesus came from Nazareth though according to scripture he was born in Bethlehem.

Christians believe that, as part of the Holy Trinity, he had an existence before his birth on Earth, so he therefore came from Heaven to Earth.

He was sent by the Father.

Answer

He simply is ...

Answer:

That is a clinical kind of a question that can't be answered to the satisfaction of the carnal mind, because it's dealing with "spirit."

The natural, human, carnal mind can't understand "infinity." It can't fathom "forever." Our very existence is bound in limitations and deceptions. Our five physical senses that send life's "physical data" information to our brain for analysis, assessment, sorting and filing into all the impossible mental folders and categories that make up our existence... that programs our developing personality... are deceptive.

God's name is "ETERNAL."

Among many others... His name is "I AM." That is - HE IS... HE EXISTS. It's a form of the verb - TO BE. His name is literally: "WAS, IS, SHALL BE"... or in the closest English translation: "ETERNAL." He has no beginning and no end.

And the finite human mind cannot accept that.

Jesus is 3 people : The father (God), The son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit (the thing that is inside you that talks to you like it is not good to do that or you're doing the right thing!) He is all 3 of those people which seems quite strange, but he is God and he can do or be anything. He was a spirit at first in heaven then he came down as a man to earth to get more followers and to die on the cross for our sins. He died on the cross and went in the tomb for 3 days (those days he was in hell and the devil did bad things to him and he could have gotten angels to get him out of there but he loves us so very much he didn't). After the 3 days he went back to heaven!
Jesus is the Son of God. He was born of a virgin, Mary, and lived a perfect life. When he was 30, he began teaching to the people in the area and gained disciples. After 3 years of ministry, He was crucified and died, and on the third day He rose again. These actions atoned for the sins of the world and proved that He is God.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem, which is near Jerusalem. However when He was young his parents moved to a town called Nazareth in Galilee, still in Israel.

Jesus came from heaven. Jesus is eternal and has been forever. At the appointed time Jesus came to earth born as a human baby so that He could die for mankind's sin. That was His primary mission. While He was on earth He showed mankind what the Father in heaven was like as Jesus and the father are the same (Both are God).

After Jesus died on the cross for our sin and was buried and then resurrected the third day, He spent 40 days on earth showing Himself to certain persons proving that He had resurrected from the dead and then He was taken back up into heaven to be with the Father and to be our High Priest, ministering to us from there. When He left He sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in believers and be their helper/comforter. Jesus is coming back again some day soon. Are you ready for Him to return? You need to be "Born Again" into God's family in order to go to heaven. Just being good or working your way to heaven will not work.

Romans 10: 9-10 tells us, "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Jesus the Christ came from the Father in heaven. Many but not all Christians believe in the Trinity. That is One God in three Persons. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This one God has been from ever and will exist forever. But The Bible says Jesus was the son of Joseph John 6:42

Before the foundations of the world were laid in eternity past the Triune God decided to create the heavens and the earth and put man on the earth with all the things he would need to live. This Triune God also knew that mankind would sin and become separated from Him. So God decided that His Son Jesus would come to earth born as a baby to Mary the virgin in the town of Bethlehem. The reason Jesus was to come to earth as a human being was in order for mankind to be reunited with God he would need a Savior. The Savior would need to be a sinless Man in order to be the perfect sacrifice for mankind's sin to be eliminated. Jesus came to earth as a human, grew up, ministered on earth for about three and a half years, then went to the cross of Calvary to pay for your sin and mine. There He died, was buried, and was resurrected the third day. Mission accomplished. Jesus is now back in heaven with the Father, but will return soon. In order to take advantage of Jesus' sacrifice that paid for your sin you need to accept Him as your Savior. The age of "Grace" (the time to be saved from sin) will be ending soon. Either with your death or the Second Coming, whichever comes first. Do not delay.

Additional Comments:

The Gospel of John calls attention to Jesus' prehuman existence as "the Word," or Spokesman, of God. Says John: "In the beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god. This one was in the beginning with God." (John 1:1, 2) Since Jehovah had no beginning, the Word's being with God from "the beginning" must refer to the start of God's creative works. (Psalm 90:2) Jesus is "the firstborn of all creation." Hence, he existed before other spirit creatures and the physical universe were created.-Colossians 1:15; Revelation 3:14.
