Probably sea scorpions venturing on the beach to scavenge dead animals washed up - as nothing else lived on land, the beaches were swamped with carrion. Those were mainly aquatic though. The first really terrestrial arthropods were possibly tiny mites and silverfish-like animals.

well, they for one were totally more awesome than us, and they were probably better looking too. but the real reason was probably because they felt like it, and it's a free country so why not? by the way, this was posted by derrick C.

Not quite, the real reason is... by chance, they already possessed structures suited to life on land so the transition was easier.

Will appear 2-legs arthropods on earth in the future?

Arthropod evolutionary process. During the evolution of arthropods, the number of legs reduced. Definition of leg: The lower extremity of the animals that is in direct contact with the ground in standing or walking. A limb that used especially for supporting the body and for walking and crawling. Modified legs, is not leg. Mantis is 4-legged not 6-legged. 2-legs arthropods will appear on earth in the future. There are four-legged arthropods now. But all arthropods are not four-legged. Centipedes, spiders and insects there are still. There will be two-legged arthropods in the future and all arthropods will not be two-legged. But over time, their number will be increased gradually. 4-legged and 2-legged arthropods are not insects. They are new classes. Stronger blood circulation system is necessary to deliver blood to the head in stand upright. Ramin Amirmardafr
