I believe that the upper class Victorians lived in goodly sized houses in town, or large estates in the countryside. They were well to do, and nearly always had at least a few servants to take care of the daily tasks. With chores out of the way, rich Victorians went hunting, shopping, to balls and concerts, and threw money around like there was no tomorrow. Especially in the Victorian era, there was a huge gap between the quality of life or the rich and poor.
poor people.
They live outside. they do not have propper feeding because they do not have the money. they build there homes out of sticks. they eat food from the garbage. they die earlier than we do because they do not have propper clothes, homes and propper food. we should sponser them so they canhave a better life and educatin.
The poor were not too much different in those days, then from today. Back then, they begged on the streets for food or a bit of money. They worked doing odd jobs of lowly types for the richer people. The children, when old enough, did the same. They may have been sold to Rich families but I'm not sure that was very common. There was no "welfare" system by the governments of then. Sometimes people were forced to steal from merchants. They would steal bread and other food items.. If caught, they were severely punished.. The poor were always looked down upon by the aristocrats. They considered them dirty and ragged, and labelled them as gypsies beggars and thieves.. Education was only for the rich and wealthy. Therefore, most of the poor were uneducated and could not read or write. They lived in squalid conditions and were usually doomed to a life of misery.

the percentage of poor people that died in the victorian time, compared to the wealthy members of the population was: poor people 78% wealthy people 22% the reason for this is the poor people in the victorian times had to work, extreamly hard to earn money for possetions therefore leading to a early death becsaue of over working the muscles and bones ect. wealthy people had a great life they laid back and enjoyed the use of the servents whic did everything for them. the servents were the poor people.
