Jon and Kate Gosselin didn't plan for sextuplets, just as they didn't plan for twins. Kate has a deficiency where she cant have kids naturally Instead, they used fertility treatments for Kate to get pregnant. So, they didn't really mean to have sextuplets. Kate Gosselin used IUI to get pregnant.
