The famous 'Guitar story'

Father Joe Jackson played in a band called 'the falcons' he played the guitar. He kept that guitar in the forbidden closet, nobody was allowed to open the closet and nobody was allowed to play on his guitar. But the brothers were born musisians, and they couldn't help breaking the rules. When Joe wasn't home Tito always took the guitar. Mother Katherine knew that they were playing on Joe's guitar but she realized that they were very talented, so she let them. But one day all hell break lose when Tito broke a string.

When Joe came home and found his guitar with a broken string he said; Oke, you used my guitar, lets hear what you can do. So Tito started to play and it was wonderfull.

A couple weeks later Joe came home with a suprise, a brand new red guitar for Tito. He also bought other instruments and microphones...

Michael was too young to join the brothers, so Jermaine was the lead singer, but soon Michael joined his brothers at the age of 5.
