∙ 14y agoSince the majority of Chinese immigrants were miners during the California Gold Rush of 1849...they lived in mining camps, which were scattered thru-out the mountains of the Sierra Nevada, and the Pacific Coast Mountain ranges that spread along the current Mendocino/Shasta/Trinity counties.
