Hindu's worship both at home and at temples which are called mandhris, each temple is dedicated to a god but people who worship to different gods still pray at that temple. in streets and villages there are simple shrines set up and most Hindu homes have a shrine or puja where they perform ceremonies and worship.

Hindus worsip in Temples.

All hindus have a niche in their house where they have the images and idols of their Gods and Goddesses. They may not go to temple daily but do not forget to worship at the shrine at home. Many people keep a Holy Basil plant (Tulasi) at home. The plant also is worshiped as a symbol of Goddess Lakshmi for welfare of the members of the house.
