No they are not. Lionhead rabbits are domestic rabbits with a mane gene. The mane gene is dominant so any rabbit that is bred to another that has a mane has a 50% chance of getting a mane. Since domestic rabbits can not mate with wild rabbits (in the US) you will not see Lionheads in the wild, unless someone dumped them there.

No, Lionheads are a domestic breed of rabbit only. Any lionhead rabbits living in the wild - like any pet rabbit in the wild - is not leading a very good life. Pet rabbits have lost many their instincts, and they aren't adapted to their environment. You should always give unwanted pets to animal shelters or rescue organizations, not release them into the wild.
