Tap water is completely safe for the human body to consume in most areas of the U.S., Canada, and other "first world" countries; if not beneficial over bottled water, it is certainly more "pure" than most of the toxic foods you will consume today. Most people do not know that cooked food and processed food are actually completely toxic to the body, and provide little more than fat and carbohydrates; even if it should contain vitamins. People can buy filters, such as Brita or Zero, in order to further purify the water, if it has visible solids in it, or if it contains heavy metals, chemicals, odorous particles, et cetera. Filters will filter out all harmful substances, even though they do not always work on things that adhere to water molecules, such as food dye. However, most of these substances are completely harmless, or are present in bottled water in greater quantities. Bottled water also contains high levels of Bisphenol A (BPA), because there are no known companies that do not use the attractive hard, clear plastic packaging. The most environmentally unfriendly brand is Fiji water, so avoid it at all costs. The company ships its water back and forth to and from China, because China makes the bottles and labels; the amount of fuel needed to carry the water is ponderously huge. Also, the company does not use ultra-pure water anymore; it lives on its fame for that. Another bad company is EVA, because it is imported water. Are humans so Godly that we need to consume imported water? It is no different than local water, and due to the water cycle, may have been in your area in the recent past.
