For any make/model car, look under the hood. There are several caps to fluid reservoirs. Look at those caps and identify the one that says "DOT" then a number. This number will usually be 3 or 4. It refers to the type of brake fluid the vehicle needs. Either dot 3 or dot 4 (though there are others). The reservoir that this cap covers is where your brake fluid is kept.
