Well first, you must beat the elite four and get the national pokedex. Then, in the safari zone, you change the area to the rocky beach. (You must have passed the warden's test.) Put down 17 rocks and 13 plains items. Wait for 100 days. I know it's tedious, but if you are impatient, get Pokemon diamond, pearl, or platinum, then catch one in wayward cave. You must have the HM strength to catch one in wayward cave. (Note, they're all gibles, but just evolve it and voila, gabite!)

∙ 13y agogetting gabite is really annoying, because you have to go to the safari zone and get a gible which requires going to the rocky beach( mind you, have to have the national dex for this) and putting down 13 plains objects and 17 peak objects and ( drum rolls) wait 100 days.

∙ 12y agoUnder the bridge in route 206 is a cave. go in and gabite is in there somewhere.
in Pokemon platinum it is also in victory road
you can only catch gible not gabite
