On the right side, under the seat, behind the plastics. If you remove rear plastics you will see it mounted on the outside of the frame near the batt. There are 2 units there. The one nearest to the front wheel is the flasher relay. That's how it is on my 04
try a Suzuki GS500F
I have a '05 GS500F and have loved it.
I have 2004 model and the manual says with a filter change 2.9 litres and without a filter change 2.6 litres.
17mm
Obviously, like other motorcycles Suzuki requires maintenance as well, change oil filter as well on every engine oil change.
3.1 quarts buddy .....i have the exact same bike .............anyway just google your ? and ull see that im right
I believe that it is 36psi in the back and 32psi in the front. On the swing arm there should be a decal that states what the recommended psi is. If not, it should say on the tire.
The tube allows condensation to leave the battery. It simply leads down towards the bottom of the bike so that the condensation doesn't drip onto the bike.
The easiest thing to do is see what MOM says, or the Motorcycle Operators Manual that comes with the GS500. It has all the information you need, but here is the gist. You need to find the half-way point between your front and rear sprocket on the chain, and mark the height of the chain. At this half-way point, your are basically looking to be able to push the chain up about 1 to 1.5 inches. If less then it's too tight, if more then it's too loose. So determine the difference of the chain height at rest compared to when you are pushing it up.
you need to buy 3 - 1L bottles (i always find the 4L jug is cheaper) its technically 2.4L i believe... but just add 2 1/2 bottles then check it and adjust from there. Dont forget to ONLY use 4 stroke motor oil... i use semi synthetic and feel its worth the little extra
If I try to, I can get just about 60mpg on my GS500F. Any 500CC or smaller bike should be able to get similar or greater mpg.
Low oil level, or oil not circulating
