Locate the switch and press the reset button.
I believe it is in the right front passenger footwell by or behind the right front kick panel
no there is no reset switch under the hood of a 1990 f150 the only reset switch is the inertia switch for the fuel pump located under drivers side dash against firewall black box with red button
To reset the oil change light on a Ford f150 you start by pressing the button on the dashboard. After you press the button on dashboard, it will start to cycle through liquid level checks, such as fuel level. When it gets to the oil, press and hold the reset button.
ON THE PASSENGER SIDE KICK PANEL HERE IS A LITTLE BLACK BOX. ON THE TOP OF IT. THERE IS A BUTTON.

After an oil change, the reset light on the 2012 Ford F150 may reset itself. If not, on the left side of the steering wheel use the toggle button to scroll to the settings menu. Press the > button to go to Vehicle Settings. Press > again and scroll to Vehicle. Press > once again and scroll to Oil Life Reset. You can set to any percentage you want from 10-100%. Press and hold the OK button to set.
I am not completely sure what you are asking, but I think you may be asking about a reset button for the check engine light(CEL)? The fact is, there is no such thing. There is a fuel reset button, called an inertia switch, that is to shut off the fuel pump if you are in a wreck. On an F150, it should be behind the right hand front kick panel, and on a windstar, it should be in the right hand rear cargo area. If the "reset" butttons were tripped then the vehicles would not run, because the fuel pump would not be operating. If the only symptom you have is a CEL, then you need to have a scanner hooked up to find out what's wrong.
under dash on pass side or behind kick panel on pass side
check under the carpet between the seats if you have buckets or behind if you have a bench.
I BELIEVE it is in the right front passenger footwell , by or behind the kick panel
There are images available online to help you see where the Fuel reset switch on a 1986 Ford F150 is.
The fuel pump inertia switch ( shut off switch ) is a safety device that breaks the electrical circuit so no power goes to the electric fuel pump if the vehicle receives a substantial jolt such as in a collision or even if it hits a really bad pothole . The switch has to be manually reset by pushing the button down that has popped up on top of the switch if no gas is leaking or you don't smell gas

What reset button? are you asking about the Inertia Switch for the fuel pump? If so, that is located on the passenger's side, beneath the dashboard, most likely just behind/below the upper edge of the floor cover, or at the right kick panel. == If you're talking about the inertia switch, in my 1990 F150 XLT Lariat, it's located on the firewall, driver's side, beside the main wiring harness pass-thru, directly below the brake pedal linkage. It's black, with a red indicator on top. I've used it before to drop out the fuel system so I could disassemble the fuel rail.
More than likely, its under the dash, usually in the middle. Its normally a Black box with white button. try behind the passenger side kick panel

To reset the anti-theft on a Ford F150 1999, put the key in the ignition. Turn the key halfway and leave it in that position before starting the car.
The inertia switch is located on the driver's side of the firewall to the left of the brake pedal or behine the right kick panel.
It could be the enertia switch was activated some how. Was it in an accident? There is a reset button under the dash on passenger side(that's where its at on my 98). If that's not it, you have a fuse for the fuel pump. Also, under the hood is a relay box with more fuses. if the fuel reset is not under dash try behind the passenger kick panel
