Where do you get the G-Signal on a 89 Mazda MPV van?
Haynes describes a method for displaying all malfunctions. By grounding the single green connector on the drivers side of engine compartment and turning the ignition switch to "on", the stored output signals are displayed. Three short flashes on the "check engine" light is the code for "no G signal". Fail-safe is "cancels 2-group injection". I am presently searching for what that means exactly. I suspect I my case I did not reconnect all of the wires after re-installing the engine head, etc on my 2.6 liter MPV.
