I don't believe you ever go anywhere. The hidden sages will all give you TM's, but that's pretty much it.

The seven sages looker will come and tell you that 'N is far away but where is he and where is the Pokemon genesect" well Genesect is a distribution Pokemon so i would guess that by getting the special distribution Pokemon will lead you to N or at least allow you to then continue to look in "newer places" but that's all i know

The place works like Turnback Cave, which appeared in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum versions. At the end, you will find one of the seven sages and he tells you that he wanted to give a Volcarona to Ghetsis but he says you can have it. Then, go into the next room and catch a LV 70 Volcarona
