If your Toyota has a manual transmission, the fluid will be put in by removing the gearshift, and literally pouring the fluid into the cavity under the shifter.
Your 1992 Toyota transmission will hold 12 quarts of transmission fluid, when it is empty. You can check the transmission fluid level with the dipstick.
In through where the transmission dipstick is.
you dont put transmission fluid in a manual transmission. you need gear oil, and it should be done by a transmission shop
Use a funnel and put the fluid in the same hole as the the dipstick where you check it... This is for automaitc of course. If i goes in slow or not at all the vent is plugged on the top of the transmission....This can also cause the trasnmission to "blow off" fluid through the seals.
Transmission fluid goes in the transmission of a Toyota Tercel as instructed by the manual for the vehicle. To know what is best to put in the vehicle, get advise from an auto part supplier.
Where do I put the transmission fluid in a 1996 Toyota t100

You put the Transmission Fluid in the Transmission (fill point transmission drip stick tube) and the Oil (fill point Oil Cap) in the Engine.Hope This Helps.
The automatic transmission fluid is put in a Toyota RAV4 in the same place you check the transmission fluid. Simply remove the dipstick and use a funnel to put the fluid in.
