If you planning to grow cantaloupes, the best place to grow cantaloupes would be indoors. Plant them during early spring. The temperature of the soil should be around 60 to 80F. Also when you plant them, make it a half inch to an inch deeper in soil. The ideal number of rows should be 4 to 6. When growing them, use rich soil with lots of compost.

Hope this helps.

Richard P. Cantaloupe invented it in his laboratory in New South Wales, several hundred years ago. He also invented the potato, the carrot, and Leonard Nemoy in this laboratory. What a great man!
