Coke, or Coca-Cola originated in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. John S.Pemberton invented Coca-Cola on May 8, 1886. He tried the concoction out on customers at Jacob's Pharmacy, and it was a hit. It immediately went on sale at five-cents a glass.
