Look on the drivers side of the tranny at the shifter linkage.You'll need to pop the kick-down cable off and then remove the two small bolts
Those switches are all located where the shifter attaches to the top of the transmission, on the shifter iself.
If you have the Ford shifter, it attaches to the shifter. If you have a Hurst shifter, you have to attach it to the floor of the car because is all the way over and up on a Hurst, instead of all the way over and down like the Ford shifter.

The switch is on the left sie of the transmission just in front of the speed sensor for a manual transmission.

Not sure on how to replace it, but it is located INSIDE your center console (which will need to be removed if you cant get to it by removing the shift boot) it is a pressure switch at the base of the handle...
should be on the right rear side of the transmission tail shaft
