It depends. If it is an autotroph (plant cell) then the cloroplasts use clorophyll, a green pigment that converts sunlight into useable energy.
If it is a heterotrophic (animal) cell, then it uses endocytosis to bring food into the cell. The food is put into a vacuole and mitochondria inside the cell break the food down into energy.
I guess it really depends on what kind of cell that you are talking about, but I know that pretty much all cells have mitochondria which are the power-house of cell. As for how the mitochondria gain their energy I do not know. However, if you are referring to plant cells, then they obtain their energy through photosynthesis, which is later used by the mitochondria. Actually, I think I remember something about the mitochondrial matrix absorbing protons, and neutrons or something, but you might want to dig a little further.
Im pretty sure plants get energy from the mytochondria, plant cells from photosythises.
Cells get their source of energy from the sun.
A cell's energy comes from the process of cellular respiration.
I don't know don't ask mmee!
cell gets energy from the butt
no, they don't. the energy for the cells comes from the ATP.
how do cells regulate synthesis to conserve energy
Cells get energy by taking in nutrients from food.
cells get their energy from heat, and when in contact with other cells, it transfers the energy (heat) to it. Cells tend to make the entire space the same tempurature. solids are cells with not much energy, so they dont move by themselves, liquids have slightly more energy in their cells, gases have more energy. you dont have to read this but the reason you see steam is because gas comes into contact with a colder surface and transfers its energy to it, then turns back to liquid with not as much energy in itself
The Cells in your body get energy from cellular respiration
Do cells extract energy
Cells store energy in bonds.
PV cells convert light energy into electrical energy.
no autotropic cells transform light energy into chemical energy. Heterotropic cells get energy from organic compounds. K-Dover
All of your cells require energy. Without energy you wouldn't be alive.
Green plant cells change light energy into chemical energy.
How cells get energy The answer is very simple. God made it
These are the cells which convert chemical energy into electerical energy
Cells use carbohydrates as a source of energy and for energy storage.
Cells store energy in the form of carbohydrates.
no, they don't. the energy for the cells comes from the ATP.
