Xenophobia is usually caused by an intense negative experience from your past. But your mind can also create that fear seemingly without basis. The key is digging down to the source and replacing negative associations with positive ones. Those at greatest risk include:
• People with a general tendency towards fear and anxiety
• People characterized as 'high strung'
• People suffering from adrenal insufficiency
1) people are jerks 2) people are likely to protect their friends, families and neighbours and they don't trust outsiders, because they are different and there is no way of knowing what their intentions are. That coupled with some good ole fashioned Propaganda and you have xenophobia
